Not your Grand Dads Father's Day Comedy Show
Andy Steinberg: Andy's entrance into comedy started in a less then traditional way. After two kids, a divorce and a failed business attempt, Andy was standing at life’s crossroads. So he decided to pick up a microphone and tell strangers about his dysfunctional childhood, less than stellar self confidence and his twisted views of life. What on the surface sounds like a bitter rant turns into a roller coaster ride with a refreshingly realistic approach to parenthood, relationships, and common sense filled with laughter and self discovery.
Andy has opened for Dave Attell, Pablo Francisco Amy Schumer and many more! When Andy's not performing or raising his 2 boys Maximum Havoc and Tru Chaos, he's probably sleeping. You can always call and wake him up @ 602.451.1111
Mike Kennedy: Mike’s skewed world view is the result of growing up on the mean streets of small town Wisconsin. It’s where he developed a fondness for the music of Kurtis Blow as well as drinking beer in sub-zero temperatures. After a stellar career as a 6’4” power forward on his 5-16 high school basketball team and somehow graduating college, Mike moved to Arizona where he worked as a private investigator and drove a taxi (sometimes at the same time) before starting his stand up career in 2007. His views on politics, sports, parenting, and pop culture are just crazy enough to be sane. Mike participated in the 2010 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas where he won a Wild Card Round show to advance to the semifinals of the event. He was also a finalist in the 2010 AZ Laugh Off and was a special guest on the Beards of Comedy Tour. While his mother would like him to get a job requiring a shirt and tie, Mike seems determined to be underemployed for the rest of his life.
James Hoenscheidt: James Hoenscheidt has be entertaining audiences in the Southwest with his “in your face” comedy for the better part of a decade. James has graced the stages of the Tempe Improv, The Comedy Spot, Stand Up Scottsdale, and this will be the first time that he will be performing at Stand Up Live. James won the inaugural Phoenix Comedy Slamfest and can also be seen in the web-series Normally This Weird, Voyage Trekkers, and the award winning short film Zombie Team Building, which you can check out at squishystudios.com.
James Harvey Heard: James Harvey Heard has been winning fans all over the Southwest for the past 8 years. Always funny with a twisted perspective on him self, his family and those around him.
